Decorating with Mobiles {The Handmade Hullabaloo}

Everyone,

My Mama's post for The Handmade Hullabaloo is live and it's nice... she even featured two mobiles that she made for our bedroom! Check this page out, not all pictures and tips for decoration are here on my blog!

Mobiles by Etincelle Creative STUDIO as seen here

"... the last two mobiles I created for my children's bedroom: the fishes on the left are used as lanterns by children here in Singapore during a festival... there are many shapes and sizes and every year I am buying one or two to decorate the rooms... and on the right I recycled the paper lanterns I bought for their last birthday party together with a paper garland I made months ago... it's as easy as that :)..."

Another day, same location... {Chloe}

Yesterday we went to Orchard for lunch with Papa, Mama and Mathias. Mathias got in trouble as he didn't behave in the restaurant. He was very noisy and he was even throwing things on the table. It was kind of funny but Mama didn't allow us to laugh... hahaha...

Chloe posing as usual; Mathias in his pram...

Painting {Chloe}

Last Saturday I had fun painting and "glittering" my drawings afterwards... The photo below represents a girl with long hair and a yellow dress, and around her are balloons-lollipops with many different colors. It is for my Mama...

It was hard to smile at the camera...

{ FOR JAPAN WITH LOVE }

I might not be the only one these past few days willing to help Japan and Japanese people and not knowing what to do... or where to donate...

Ann from Little Red Bus proposed to support the action of Lydia from Ever Ours and the ladies from Utterly Engaged. They are holding a day of silence for Japan tomorrow March 18 ( = no blog post ) and support the organisation ShelterBox  which was amongst the first to be on site after the quake and tsunami hit north-east Japan last Friday.

As Lydia explains it so well on her blog:

{Fundraising}

For Japan With Love has a direct link on the website to our fundraising page for ShelterBox.
ShelterBox was one of THE first organizations asked by Japan to help and were on hand on the Saturday after the quake.  Each large, green ShelterBox is tailored to a disaster but typically contains a disaster relief tent for an extended family, blankets, water storage and purification equipment, cooking utensils, a stove, a basic tool kit, a children’s activity pack and other vital items.
 Please check it out and whatever you can contribute will be so appreciated.

{Bloggers Day of Silence}

Anyone that has a blog can help out with this one.  The aim is just raise awareness and respect and acknowledge the devastation going on in Japan.

The guidelines are simple:
1.  This coming Friday, March 18th, no posts at all on your blog.

2.  Please post a blog post about what you will be doing this Friday whenever possible in hopes to spread the word and whoever else would like to join in.

You all can check out what I did for mine here or Utterly Engaged's here and do it your way if you'd like.

3. Tweet and Re-Tweet the shiznit out of the link to http://www.forjapanwithlove.com please.

4. Encourage your readers to contribute to donate shelter to Japan.

Whatever anyone can contribute will be appreciated. Every little helps.

Please do participate tomorrow and donate to ShelterBox via For JapanwithLove
I certainly will.

Ce matin... {Chloe}

Sausage Making {Papa - Chloe}

Papa had this dream of making his own sausages... he purchased a book teaching you the "how-to" at least 2 years ago and finally got a Kitchen Aid before our birthday party with the requested tools...
So last weekend he got to make his own sausages for the very first time, and it was quite good! Mama gave him a hand as it seems to be quite difficult to fill them up...

He prepared two types of sausages: country style sausage and spicy sausage. I didn't taste the spicy one... not sure about Mathias...

One of the hardest task when making sausage...

Hop! let's get started!

Proud Papa!

Et voila! can you tell which one is the spicy sausage? not really easy and everyone got lost!

We did a barbecue at the end of the afternoon and got some friends for a tasting session... Mathias and I had lots of fun in the pool, and playing with our friends... Mama forgot to bring the camera (or is she scared that I might bring that one in the pool too?)... no pictures :(
