I did not have the chance to post for quite a long time....the reason is that I have been rather busy with the order of a Christening dress for my friend's baby, Rita. I had only 2 weeks to design it and make it, which is pretty short considering that I can work (efficiently) only for a short time during the day and/ or in the evening. 
But I MADE it and to my surprise it is very cute...let's see the details: it is in silk, with a pretty ribbon decorating the sleeves and the bottom of the dress. The biggest challenge was maybe to make the hat, but I was inspired (?) and I found the design and made the pattern in only 1 hour. 
There are four tiny buttons made out of mother-of-pearl on the back and the inside is in cotton (softer and more comfortable for baby Rita). 
It took me about 14 hours in total to realize the matching dress and hat.
To make it short, I feel now more confident and would like to make more and more dresses and clothes (for girls). The current project is another dress for Mlle Chloé with a vintage ribbon and I am also thinking about a special dress for her birthday party. Then there will be a blouse in light white cotton and pompons.
Bicounette is turning 1 next Saturday and we have the party on the 27th...I have designed and made the invitations today. But it is another topic and I will talk about it later on...
